The Post-Graduate Courses

In India, students can choose a postgraduate programme only after earning a Bachelor’s degree, also known as a Master’s degree. The subjects of the students’ choosing are studied in-depth throughout a postgraduate programme. Indian institutions and colleges typically provide postgraduate programmes that last between one and two years.

Doctoral Studies

Students who want to go deep into a subject or course and desire to enter the field of research can choose doctoral studies. Deep study or thesis work is required for doctorate degrees (PhD programmes), which can be finished in three to six years.
