Implementation Of The Scheme
Around 10 lakh recipients will be given an advance of Rs. 1 lakh each from banks at just 2% yearly enthusiasm to begin their lives once again under Atmanirbhar Gujarat Sahay Yojana. All the credits will be given based on application and no assurance will be required. Gujarat Government will pay the remaining 6% enthusiasm on credit to banks. The residency of such advances will be of 3 years and re-installment of head and premium will begin following a half year of approval of advance sum. State Government have taken this decision after having a conversation with the banks.

Features of Atmanirbhar Gujarat Sahay Yojana
- The scheme is beneficial for the 10 lakh small-time businessmen in the state including grocery shop owners, vegetable vendors and autorickshaw drivers.
- Beneficiaries will get a collateral-free loan up to Rs. 1 Lakh
- Applicants have to pay interest of 2% per annum while the remaining 6% interest will be paid by the state government
- 6 months moratorium period will be given to the beneficiaries
- The loan will be provided by cooperative banks, district banks, and credit cooperative societies
- The government has sanctioned Rs.5000 crore for the project

- Loan amount: Under Atmanirbhar Gujarat Sahay Yojana loan of Rs 1 lakh will be given to the businessman to restart their business that has been affected due to coronavirus lockdown.
- Tenure of the loan: Under Atmanirbhar Gujarat Sahay Yojana the tenure for loan is 3 years. That means the loan has to be repaid within a period of three years.
- Interest rate: Under Atmanirbhar Gujarat Sahay Yojana a loan of Rs 1 lakh will be given to beneficiaries at an interest of 2% per annum.
