Deen Dayal Swasthya Seva Yojana – Beginning on September 1st, 2016, the Deen Dayal Swasthya Seva Yojana has been implemented in the State. Deen Dayal Swasthya Seva Yojana 2024
Up to May 31, 2018, the Scheme was. The DDSSY Scheme was previously managed by the TPA Paramount Health Services & Insurance TPA Pvt. Ltd. and is now being managed by the new TPA MD India Health Insurance TPA Pvt. Ltd. as of 01/11/2019. Direct payments are made by the DHS’s DDSSY Cell. The program covers 447 medical treatments in all. There are now 10 private hospitals outside of Goa, 35 private hospitals inside Goa, 6 government hospitals, and 1 government-aided hospital. The budgetary allowance for the financial year 2020–2021 is Rs. 90.00 crores and is broken down as follows: 2210–Medical & Public Health, 80–General, 800–Other Expenditure, 25–Din Dayal Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (P), and 50–Other Charges.

The State of Goa created the current program to help individuals receive high-quality medical care and treatment for illnesses, hospitalization, and surgery through public and private hospitals and to advance medical services.

Some of the key features of the Deen Dayal Swasthya Seva Yojana are as follows:
- The beneficiaries of this scheme will receive benefits on a cashless basis up to the yearly coverage cap, which is as follows:
- Members of the family may use the insurance benefit either individually or collectively.
- For families with three or less people, the insurance coverage may be up to Rs. 2.50 lakhs annually, and for families with four or more members, it may be up to Rs. 4 lakhs annually. The claim would never be more than Rs. 4.00 lakhs every year.
- An individual is free to choose a greater level of coverage from the insurance company by paying a higher premium, with no consequences for public facilities and policy.

The eligibility criteria for Deen Dayal Swasthya Seva Yojana are as follows:
- The Scheme offers health insurance to every State citizen who has lived in Goa for five years or more.

Document Required
Some of the documents required for the Deen Dayal Swasthya Seva Yojana are as follows:
- Every family member older than five years old must have an Aadhar card or enrollment acknowledgment paper (Compulsory).
- Person’s residence evidence of eligibility: Passport, residence permit, election card, or driving licence issued in Goa at least five years ago.
- A ration card that specifies the family. If a ration card is unavailable, all of the documentation listed below must be enclosed.
- Marriage Certificate for Spouse.
- A declaration that the dependent parent or parents are not employed.
- For dependent children: birth certificate, school transcript, or children of the qualified person.
- For OBC non-creamy layer members, a caste certificate from the deputy collector must be presented with an income certificate proving an annual income of less than Rs. 6.00 lakhs.
- For eligible people with disabilities
- The Director of Tribal Welfare or Deputy Collector must issue a cast certificate for SC/ST applicants.
Procedure to Use the Scheme’s Benefits
The recipient may speak with any Empaneled Health Care Provider (EHCP) on the website’s roster. The patient can approach the DDSSY Sahayak at the hospital with the Card if the surgery is covered by the scheme and is offered at the specified EHCP and the Sahayak will raise a request for pre-authorization to the ISA pre-authorization physician after conferring with the doctor.
If the beneficiary is informed of the procedure, they can also check the website to see which EHCP performs it and then go to the hospital of their choosing from the list of EHCPs authorized to execute the surgery.
Deen Dayal Swasthya Seva Yojana Registration Process
To apply for the Yojana, the applicant has to register through the official website, and the process is given as:
- Open the official website of the Yojana.
- The homepage will be displayed on the screen.
- Now from the homepage, click on the Registration option.
- A new registration form will open on the screen.
- Enter the email id and mobile number in the given box.
- Now click on the generate OTP option.
- An OTP will be received on your provided mobile number.
- Enter the OTP and move forward.
- After that, a registration form will open on the screen.
- Enter your personal details carefully and upload the required documents.
- Now click on the register option.
