Eligibility Criteria of Scheme
Regular employees of the State Government who are between the ages of 21 and 53 are eligible for the programme. This makes sure that the employees’ service period coincides with the maximum loan term of 7 years.
Objectives of Scheme
The “Apun Bahan” programme has been implemented by the Assam government for the benefit of Assam state government employees. By this programme, government personnel are eligible to get a motor vehicle loan with a 2% interest subsidy. For women and Divyangjan employees, this will be increased to 3%.
