Thus, the Assam government will be giving incentives for all the newly married bride who have registered their marriage in the upcoming year of 2020.

As mentioned above, there are many benefits that will be provided to the new married in the Assam state under the Arundhati Swarna Yojana. First of all, 10-gram gold will be distributed to all of the beneficiaries. But it is mentioned by the concerned authorities that instead of direct gold, Rupees 30000 will be distributed in all of the beneficiary’s bank account and that money will be then utilized in buying gold as per the desire of the newlyweds.

Objective Of Assam 10 gm Gold Scheme
The objective of the scheme is mostly clear that the scheme is initiated to increase the percentage of registered marriage in Assam state but also the secondary objective of the scheme is to prevent child marriage because the least age to attain the advantages of the scheme and to be married legally is 18 years of age. Through the implementation of this scheme, the concerned authorities of the Assam government can keep a check on the percentage of child marriage in their state.

Eligibility Criteria
To be
eligible for the Arundhati Swarna Yojana, you must follow the simple
eligibility criteria given here:-
- An applicant must be a permanent and legal resident of Assam state.
- The applicant must be a newlywed.
- The funds will be transferred to the bride’s bank account.
- A Girl must be at least 18 years old and boy must be at least 21 years old.
- The girl must have studied till at least 10th standard.
- The marriage must be registered under the Special Marriage Act 1954
- An annual income of the bride’s family must be less than Rs 5 lakh.
- The scheme is only applicable to the first marriage of the girl.

Procedure To Seek Application for Arundhati Swarna Yojana
- To seek online application for this scheme you have to browse the official website of Revenue and Disaster Management Department
- From the home page of the website you will find the “citizen” option in the menu bar
- Click on it and a drop-down list will appear from where you have to select “Apply online” option
- Now language option will appear on the screen, choose your language in which you would like to fill the form
- The form will appear on the screen enter the details such as the annual income of the family, applicants name, groom name, father name, Aadhar card no, marriage registration at and other information as asked
- Enter the captcha code appears on the screen and take a print out of the filled application form
- Click the “submit” option to take a print out of it.

- To track status you have to browse the official website of Revenue and Disaster Management Department
- From the home page of the website you will find the “citizen” option in the menu bar
- Click on it and a drop-down list will appear from where you have to select “track status” option
- Enter your application number, mobile number and captcha code appears on the screen
- Click “submit” and status will appear on the screen

- To re-fix the date of document verification you have to browse the official website of Revenue and Disaster Management Department
- From the home page of the website you will find the “citizen” option in the menu bar
- Click on it and a drop-down list will appear from where you have to select “refix document verification date ” option
- Enter your application number, mobile number and captcha code appears on the screen
- Click the “submit” option and re-fix the date.
