eHealth Kerala is a pioneer project that is funded by the government of India and the Department of Health and Family Welfare, the Government of Kerala. Through this scheme, the citizens of Kerala will be provided with a convenient centralized healthcare system. Other than that through this scheme citizens will be provided unique identification and unified healthcare record which is based on Aadhar. With the implementation of this scheme, a proper healthcare system for the people of the state will be established. The government is going to provide various healthcare services through this portal which include one citizen one health record, online appointment booking at government hospitals, and telemedicine consultations. With the implementation of this scheme, the standard of living of the citizens will be improved.

One citizen one health record- A single health record card will be provided to each and every citizen which will be unique by virtue of an Aadhar-based unique health identity card. This card can be used lifelong at a government hospital in order to get treatment
Online appointment booking at a government hospital- Through this facility citizens can be able to book online appointments to any of the government hospitals with ease through the citizen portal, Akshaya services portal, and through M-eHealth mobile app which is available at Google Play Store
Telemedicine consultation- Through this facility citizens can consult an expert doctor virtually. This facility will be provided through the M-health mobile app. For now, the review consultation is started as a pilot project. This consultation will be extended to the general public for booking advance appointments
