More than 30 lakh poor families will benefit from this scheme. This township will be developed in every constituency across the state. The district collectors have also instructed the officials of the department concerned regarding the township. This project will be self-sustainable where land will be acquired from people willing to give them and government lands by following all the rules.

Objective Of Jagananna Smart Town Scheme

The main objective of the Jagananna Smart Town Scheme is to provide residential plots to middle-income group families. This scheme will realize their dream of owning their own house. With the help of this scheme, almost 30 lakh citizens will get benefits. Jagananna smart town scheme will also improve the standard of living of the citizens of Andhra Pradesh. This scheme will also make the citizens of Andhra Pradesh self-dependent. The government of Andhra Pradesh is going to provide residential plots with all the basic amenities at an affordable price through this scheme.

Payment Schedule Of AP Jagananna Smart Town Scheme

All the Eligible people can apply for plots in the township by paying 10% of the total price. The first installment of the plot will be 30% of the total cost which is required to be paid in a month after the agreement, another installment will be required to be paid in another 6 months which will be 30% and the remaining 30% is required to be paid at the time of plot registration. Around 10% of the plots in the township will be reserved for Government employees who do not have their own houses and they will be provided a rebate of 20%. The township will be developed according to the town planning norms. 50% of the layout area will be used for common needs like parks, playgrounds, schools, and Banks.

Jagananna Smart Town Plots Compliance

Towns will have 60 feet-wide BT road, 40 feet-wide CC road, footpaths, color tiles, and Avenue plantations. Corpus funds will be set up for the maintenance of the layout. After the development, the layouts will be handed over to the owners. 538 plots were laid in the first installment in the layout which will be laid at navaluru near Mangala Giri. Clear title deed, Town and country planning approval will be provided to the beneficiaries. These plots will be in compliance with the real estate regulatory authority regulations.

Citizens of Andhra Pradesh can apply under this scheme through the official website which the Chief Minister launched from the camp office at Tadepalli on 11th January 2022.
This website will accept applications for layouts in dharmavaram of Anantapur, mangalagiri of Guntur, rayachoti of Kadapa, kandukur of Prakasam, Kavali of Nellore and Eluru of West Godavari.
The construction of 15.6 lakh houses under the first phase of this scheme has already begun.
All those citizens whose annual income is less than Rs 18 lakh are eligible to apply under this scheme.
There will be three categories of plots that will be offered under this scheme which are 150 square yards, 200 square yards, and 240 square yards.
Soon the government is going to launch this scheme in the whole state.
The allotment of plots will be done in a transparent manner through a computerized lottery regardless of any caste, religion, region, or political affiliation.
