On August 7, the labour department announced, the site would be launched statewide and migrant workers will be registered. Contractors that bring in-state temporary workers as well as employers can register the employees in the site. The state government of Kerala will launch the ‘Athidhi portal’ on Monday in an effort to speed up the registration procedure for migrant workers in the state and implement a special identification system.
